Another edition of the "Eco-Christmas Tree" campaign organized by the Department of Environmental Protection of the Municipal Office in Starachowice and the Museum of Nature and Technology. The ecological and artistic happening was addressed to students of primary schools.

- Promoting ecological attitudes is extremely important. We are very happy that awareness on this topic is constantly growing. Seeing the works prepared by young students of Starachowice schools, we become convinced that education is the best way to build a sense of responsibility for the natural environment around us - said Elżbieta Gralec, Deputy Mayor of the City for Economic Affairs.

The event aims to promoting and consolidating the principles of municipal waste management, with particular emphasis on segregation and recovery of secondary raw materials. The organizers also want to shape ecological attitudes and responsibility for the natural environment among young people. The happening is also to contribute to the development of the participants' artistic skills and to promote Christmas traditions.
