Supporting ecological activities, artistic presentations, zones of interest, and ecological competitions are the most important elements of the ecological picnic taking place today at Primary School No. 11. The meeting was also an opportunity to officially open a language laboratory, the equipment of which was possible thanks to the support of Cerrad.

Thursday's ecological picnic was another event in the history of Primary School No. 11, the idea of which supported the pro-ecological attitude. The school in Starachowice is an institution that undertakes many activities in this area. The metamorphosis of "eleven" from an ordinary school into a modern eco-school is one of the priorities of the project "Direction Future: Starachowice Local Development Program" implemented as part of the so-called Norwegian funds. These activities are co-financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 (85%) and the state budget (15%).

School with a title
Starachowice Primary School No. 11 received the title of Eco-School this year. This project is implemented by the Ministry of Climate and Environment, and the relevant certificate was presented during the Thursday picnic. In the gymnasium of the school, there was also a place for presentations of numerous zones of activity, creativity, or pro-ecological attitudes implemented daily by the school's students.
