The idea of organizing the first Youth Civic Festival in Starachowice was a great success. The turnout was great and the participants gathered in the City Park Amphitheater had a great time.
Lectures by interesting guests, interviews, musical performances, debates, an instax point, competitions - these are just some of the attractions that the Youth City Council in Starachowice has prepared for the festival participants.
The main characters of the event were Dawid Myśliwiec from the channel and blog "Uwaga! Naukowy Bełkot" and Rafał Gębura from the podcast "7 meters underground", who talked about how to achieve success in social media by creating valuable content.
There was also an artistic part, during which young regional artists presented themselves (e.g. "Młody Iguana", the band "Majstry", "Nuta" and "Damon" and many others). Guests could also learn about the assumptions of the Green Citizens' Budget and participate in consultations regarding the Youth Strategy for the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship.
Additionally, participants could take part in a field game and knowledge competitions about Starachowice and Norway.
The festival took place as part of the project "Direction of the Future - Starachowice Local Development Program" co-financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism for 2014-2021 (85%) and the state budget (15%) as part of the Local Development Program.
