The Starachowice Community Garden is still growing. Work and the first plantings have already started in the garden area at Gliniana Street. The intergenerational cooperation of seniors, U3A students, students of schools in Starachowice and the city authorities bring effects in the form of planted herbs, shrubs, and plants.

"We treat ourselves with herbs, not antibiotics" - this is the motto of the Starachowice Community Garden invoked by the president of the University of the Third Age, Jerzy Krawczyk. The president of the association, which celebrates its 15th anniversary this year, announces the organization of numerous meetings and workshops in this place, thanks to which the inhabitants of the city will be able to learn about the herbs planted and their use in everyday cooking.
