The study visit of the delegation from Bergen - the second largest city in Norway, the new partner of Starachowice - was an opportunity to present the potential of our commune in greater detail and talk about the directions of development.

The visit was related to the official inauguration of the project "Direction for the Future - Starachowice Local Development Program", financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism for 2014-2021 (85%) and the state budget (15%),

The guests from Bergen started their visit in the Culture Park, where they could meet the youngest residents of Starachowice and listen to the participants of the 39th Children's Song Festival. At the "Skałka" Gallery, they learned about the transformation of the Municipal Social Welfare Center into the Social Services Center, visited the Customer Service Office, and learned about the forms of senior policy. During the exceptionally singing and joyful event, they also had the opportunity to meet the numerous talents of Starachowice seniors.
