Starachowice has a new logo, promotional slogan and Visual Identification System. The implementation of this project was possible thanks to obtaining Norwegian funds.
- The logo does not replace the coat of arms. The coat of arms remains the basic and most important symbol of the city, used as an official sign - emphasized Marek Materek, Mayor of the city, at Thursday's press conference. - The logo will fulfill other functions, it is an opportunity to present the city through a noticeable and remembered symbol. It is intended to express his character and potential in a simple way. It is addressed to residents, but also tourists and investors, which is why we took into account the voices of various social groups. We wanted the logo to express the city's identity, emphasize its history, and at the same time illustrate the dynamics of development, natural values and modernity.
A modern, developing city
The subject of the order was the development of a Visual Identification System for the City of Starachowice, which was to take into account the specificity of the city and the tourist and economic potential of Starachowice, as well as point to a modern, developing city.
The study was carried out as part of the project entitled "Direction for the Future - Starachowice Local Development Program", financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism for 2014-2021 (85%) and the state budget (15%) from the "Local Development" Program.
In the proceedings, the most advantageous offer was submitted by APLAN MEDIA Sp. z o. o. from boat. The aim of the effort undertaken by the design and graphic team was to strengthen the image of the City of Starachowice as a compact, resident-friendly, digital city using modern technologies to communicate with residents, green, and a leader in industrial development in the Świętokrzyskie region.
