On December 13, at the Municipal Public Library in Starachowice, the Youth City Council hosted Piotr Jurkowski from the "Gdzie bądź" channel at a special meeting.
The main point of the meeting was a presentation about the French overseas department of Réunion.

- Piotr told us about his entire stay on the island, including the exhausting crossing of the GRR2 trail and the picturesque views from the top of the Piton des Neiges volcano. "Where to be" calls Réunion a true treasure of Europe. Then we went to the Q&A section, where meeting participants could ask questions to our guest. We learned where he would like to spend his old age, where he dreams of returning one day, and about the difficulties associated with a trip to India - say the meeting organizers.

At the end there was "Smartkówka". It was a competition with prizes for a presentation about Reunion, based on which 3 winners were selected. The prizes included matches from Mexico and postcards from Australia. There was also a competition for the Youth City Council!

The meeting was organized as part of the project entitled "Direction for the Future - Starachowice Local Development Program" from the Local Development Program, co-financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism for 2014-2021 (85%) and the state budget (15%).
