The fourteenth edition of the Ecological Festival took place in the Archeopark of the Museum of Nature and Technology in Starachowice. This year's campaign was held under the slogan "Creeper - forest guardian of trees", and was attended by preschoolers and students of grades I-III of educational institutions in Starachowice. Marcin Gołębiowski, Deputy Mayor for Social Affairs, as well as Eliza Strzelec and Katarzyna Mazur from the Environmental Protection Department of the City Hall took an active part in the event.

The festival was combined with the "ECological Picnic" organized as part of the project entitled: "Direction for the Future - Starachowice Local Development Program", implemented under the "Local Development" Program and co-financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism (85%) for 2014-2021 and State Budget (15%).

- I am glad that so many of you participated in the ecological festival. As part of it, you learned about the life of a resident of parks and forests - a creeper. It is a unique bird that is called the protector of trees. Now you know perfectly well how important it is to take care of the natural environment. Pass on the knowledge you have acquired to others, so that they can consciously take care of the world around them, said Marcin Gołębiowski to the participants.
