The next stage of works related to the development of the area of the former hospital at Radomska Street and the construction of an estate of multi-family residential buildings is ahead of us. The municipality of Starachowice has signed an agreement for the "Development of the concept and design and cost documentation of a model residential estate in Starachowice". The contractor for the documentation will be the experienced Architectural Studio "Czora i Czora" Sp. z o.o. from Katowice. After the documentation is developed, it will be time to obtain a building permit and start construction work. The President of Starachowice announces that work will start in two years.
- The property of the former hospital has been "scaring" with its appearance for a long time. However, this will change. It was purchased by the Municipality of Starachowice with the idea of building a new residential estate in this place. Today I would like to inform you that we have just signed an agreement for the development of the concept and design and cost documentation for this place. We want to create a project that will enable the creation of an extraordinary place in this urban space. Eight multi-family residential buildings from four to seven floors will be built here. In total, we plan to create an estate consisting of 420 residential units," announces Mayor of Starachowice Marek Materek.
"The development of the concept and design and cost documentation of a model residential estate in Starachowice" will be implemented within the framework of the Starachowice Local Development Program - Direction Future and the Starachowice Housing Program. The first stage will be financed from Norwegian funds (within the framework of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism for 2014-2021 and the State Budget from the Local Development Program) and the city's housing program. The second stage will be implemented within the framework of the Starachowice Housing Program.
Experienced designer
The contractor for the documentation will be the company Architectural Studio Czora i Czora Sp. z o.o. Katowice. The company presented us with selected references of residential and public buildings in its portfolio. The portfolio of projects by the Katowice studio includes, among others: residential building complexes in Katowice, the Wrocław Court of Appeal, or the Qubus hotel in Katowice.
Under the signed agreement, the "Czora i Czora" studio will prepare for us the design and cost documentation for the construction of an estate of multi-family residential buildings, including the demolition of existing buildings at ul. Radomska in Starachowice and the development of the area.
