
Students of three primary schools in Starachowice actively joined the creation of Polish and Ukrainian Easter decorations by taking part in an art competition announced by Park Kultury. The originator of the competition was Inna Mekheda - an intercultural assistant of the City Hall in Starachowice.
The summary of the first edition of the art competition is behind us, the main goal of which was to create creative spaces for the integration of children from Poland and Ukraine by spending time together and doing work together. In three primary schools in Starachowice: No. 9, No. 10 and No. 12, students and teachers were actively involved in this competition. Together, extraordinary works of art were created to promote the Christmas traditions of both nations.
The competition was aimed at primary school students from classes I to VII. The task of the competition was to create a piece of art together in any technique. Students completed their work by April 1. This week - in accordance with the rules of the competition "Polish and Ukrainian Easter decorations" - there was a summary of the competition, the vernissage of the works and the presentation of gifts to its participants.
