This is the first such innovative residential project implemented in Starachowice. Ecological, multi-family residential buildings made of natural materials, equipped with e.g. heat pumps, and photovoltaic installations are to be built at ul. Polna. The investment will be 100% financed from external funds.
The Commune of Starachowice announced a tender for the preparation of design and cost documentation along with obtaining decisions enabling their implementation by applicable regulations, along with the necessary arrangements and opinions.
The order will be financed under the project "Direction Future - Starachowice Local Development Programme", financed from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism for 2014-2021 (85%) and the state budget (15%).
As part of the project, three three-storey buildings with individual facades will be built. The apartments will be one-, two- and three-room with balconies, the planned usable area is from 40 m2 to 65 m2. Each apartment will have an assigned parking space in the underground car park.
According to the assumptions of the project, the buildings are to have the least impact on the environment and meet the requirements for energy-efficient buildings. The materials used for their construction should be made of natural raw materials. The client proposes to design green roofs on the buildings and make external walls from ecological materials, e.g. wood. The buildings are to ensure good thermal accumulation, humidity regulation, air exchange and protection against noise.
The applied solutions are to ensure the lowest possible energy consumption and environmental protection. heat pumps, photovoltaic installations, solar installations, and gray water recovery installations. In the area around the buildings, the largest possible area covered with greenery has been planned, including the design of rainwater tanks ("rainwater") and possibly an open tank serving as a rainwater retention tank and composters.
Small architecture planned around the buildings assumes the construction of: a roofed garbage gazebo, a shelter for bicycles, parking spaces for residents, charging stations for electric cars, park-type lighting on poles with solar installations (and partly LED lighting), social gardens, assembly of benches, baskets and construction playground.
