Let’s talk about accessibility – Kierunek Przyszłość – Starachowicki Program Rozwoju Lokalnego

The Mayor of Starachowice, Marek Materek, invites all residents and representatives of non-governmental organizations to participate in social consultations regarding the development of the document "Accessibility Standards for the Starachowice Commune". The main purpose of the consultations scheduled for October 10 and 11 (Tuesday, Wednesday) is to obtain opinions on the development of this document.

The consultations will take place as part of the project "Direction for the Future - Starachowice Local Development Program" financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism for 2014-2021 (85%) and the state budget (15%).

Consultation meetings will be held on October 10-11, i.e. Tuesday and Wednesday. They are scheduled to start at 4 p.m., and the venue for the consultations will be the Municipal Public Library. Adolf Dygasińskiego at 5 Kochanowskiego Street.

City consultations will be conducted in accordance with the Order of the Mayor of Starachowice of October 4, 2023.

- The aim of public consultations is to obtain opinions, proposals and comments on the development of the document "Accessibility Standards for the Starachowice Commune". The document will include standards for improving the comfort of functioning of people with special needs and will be a set of guidelines unifying technical and spatial solutions so that the designed city space is adapted to the needs of various user groups - assure the meeting organizers.

Consultations will be conducted in the form of open meetings with stakeholders (i.e. residents and representatives of non-governmental organizations). One of the points of these consultations will be completing the survey and expressing written opinions or comments delivered to the seat of the Municipal Office in Starachowice. These comments can be submitted via electronic means of communication to the e-mail address: kontaktacje@starachowice.eu by October 13, 2023.

A report will be prepared from the consultations.
