At the Social Activity Center at the Wzgórze district, day-care activities will be carried out, activities for residents will be conducted, incl. in the field of a family trainer or coaching, as well as a psychotherapist or industry consulting in the field of finance, work, or law. Here, pro-ecological activities for the city’s residents will also be promoted. Children can count on a wide range of animation activities, culinary, gardening, and ecological workshops.

The project also provides for educational and care classes for children and adolescents, with particular emphasis on children at risk of social exclusion, caring for children – participants of day-care activities, creating conditions for extracurricular activity, developing interests, creating a safe environment for fun and relaxation for children and adolescents out of school, supporting school difficulties and disseminating positive behavior.

A crisis intervention point will be organized at CAS. Help will be provided not only to children, but also to parents and the elderly. You will be able to use the help of a psychologist, lawyer or financial advisor.

The day-room will be intended for children and young people, in particular from families experiencing difficulties in fulfilling care and educational functions.

The facility will be created in connection with the implementation by the Commune of Starachowice of the project entitled “Direction Future – Starachowice Local Development Program”, co-financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 (85%) and the State Budget (15%) from the Local Development Program. Administrative and financial support for the day-care center will be provided by the Social Services Center in Starachowice.
