Project “Direction Future – Starachowice Local Development Program”
The main goal of the project is to improve the quality of life of residents through the implementation of comprehensive social, educational, environmental, economic and institutional programs and projects.
Ecology and environmental protection have been a very important factor for the city for several years. The environmental scope of the project is primarily the Eco School, which will be built on the premises of Primary School No. 11. The scope of changes includes not only the renovation of the building and the development of the area around the school, but also the development of innovative ecological courses for teachers. As part of the project, a small traveller’s room, a library and a media library, a “land” classroom and a green relaxation zone will be built. Eco school will become a green showcase of the city of Starachowice, promoting environmental values and activities aimed at children and youth.
